Saturday Showtime!



It's hard to believe that MCT came in on Tuesday, selected their cast, and were ready to perform a one-hour musical, not once, but twice, on Saturday! As usual, the little ones who play the roles of Dust Bunnies steal the show, but everyone from the Princess and Pea, to the Leprechauns, to the Phony Princesses made the show come to life. Kudos to all the kids who worked hard to make the sixth year of the MCT residency a success! If you saw the show or had a child who partcipated, we'd love to hear your reaction to the performance. I had not heard of the children's theater before, but we saw a poster at the school, and both of my daughters wanted to try out. I'm so glad they did! It was a busy week, but they had a lot of fun, and they were very proud of being in their first play. And I'm sure it will give them the confidence to try similar activities in the future.

Thank you so much for giving them this opportunity!

All of the kids did a great job, and I was impressed with how much they learned in such a few days.

And I am partial, but I think the Dust Bunnies were adorable. :)
